Relax And Awaken The Inner You

Okay it’s official. Yoga calms the body. These days work has you stressed out. STOP! Don’t run to the freezer to grab the Ben & Jerry’s. Well, not now at least. Instead get your butt over to a yoga studio and do yoga. Yoga calms the body, period. Yoga helps control your breathing and along the way it helps tones and builds some muscle mass. Now it’s not a cardio workout, but that’s what exercise cycles are for.

Let’s get back to breathing. Breath deeply first air filling your belly working its way to your chest. Relax your mind. Think pleasant thoughts. Lying on a beach on a tropical island. That sort of thing. Once your fill your chest with air then slowly release deflating your chest first than your belly. Starting to feel more relaxed? Do this everyday and watch the stress subside. In fact do this whenever you feel like.
