UV plus known as Ultra Violet, works by using radiation. Sounds odd right? Well, in a way I suppose it is. But note that, the same radiation that kills germs, pollen, bacteria, smoke, is not the same kind of radiation that will hurt you. It’s a smaller, controlled "substance" which allows the "germs" to flow into the air purifier and get zapped with the UV ray light.
